P-Gear

Faced with the challenge of improving Porsche’s newly introduced automatic gear shift, which lacked user-friendly ergonomics, I redesigned it to enhance comfort while preserving the brand’s iconic luxury and sportiness. Utilizing human ergonomics as a guiding principle, I conducted brand research, sketched concepts, and developed prototypes that merged the tactical feel of a manual transmission with the convenience of an automatic. The final design was praised for its balance of form and function, blending modern usability while paying homage to Porsche’s iconic heritage.
